Baba & Mama gave me a very cool nickname – Tiger YaYa – because I was born in the Year of the Tiger.

Before I was born, they racked their brains over my nickname.

Dad suggested “Yaya,” meaning little girl, but Mom thought it was too ordinary. Yet she couldn’t think of anything better.

Then one day while driving, they mentioned “this year is the Year of the Tiger, I’ll be a Tiger Yaya.”

Yes! That’s it! Mom decided instantly. Tiger Yaya!

So I got this lovely and cool nickname Tiger Yaya.

I’m three years old now, a free-spirited and happy little girl.
My mom is beautiful, and my dad was handsome (when he was young ^-^).

My eyebrows are exactly like my dad’s, and I hear they’re identical to my grandfather’s too. Sadly, I never met him, but in another world, he must know I’ve arrived and be happy about it.

Both my Mom and Dad love me dearly, and I love them too, and also the lovely, brand new world.

Sewing fun

You were so amazing today, helping Mommy operate the sewing machine. When Mommy said “Go,” your little feet pressed down on the pedal, and you pushed hard.
When Mommy said “Stop, stop,” your little feet lifted right off the pedal.
So adorable.

Good girl

It’s not even 9 pm yet, but you’re already fast asleep beside Mommy.
You were so impressive today, you ate strawberries with a fork like a pro, dipped bread sticks into chocolate sauce without making any mess, and even tossed your empty yogurt container into the trash bin all by yourself.
Such a capable little one! Mommy is so proud of you.
Goodnight, my darling.

Before I knew it, my little girl turned three.
Mommy delights in your daily growth, marvels at your constant changes.
Fearing I might miss capturing them before they slip away.
Thankfully, it’s never too late.
Mommy hopes you’ll always be happy and healthy.
Mommy loves you.
